Training of Technicians on Good Practice in Refrigeration, Tiranë. ABA Business Center

NOPIU (National Ozone and Project Implementation Unit)  in cooperation with Albanian RAC Associations  and United Nation Environment Programme (UNEP) organized a Training Workshop  on “Good Practice in Refrigeration Sector”  from 27 – 28 February in Tirana, ABA Business Center. In this workshop participated 25 technicians  and only 22 of them received certificates.

During day one, technicians got theoretical knowledge about introduction of Montreal Protocol and HPMP at national level to phase out HFCF, alternative refrigerant to HCFC, good practice in refrigeration sector, recovery recycling and reclaim of refrigerant and tools, equipment used in refrigeration.

The second day was practical training of technicians to have a better understanding of air conditioning and refrigeration system. The practice helped the technicians to achieve great performance to improve the air conditioning and refrigeration system to achieve great performance to improve the air conditioning and refrigeration system efficiency. During the practical training technicians are taught with good practices in refrigeration sector. They are focused mainly in recovery, recycling and reclaim of refrigerants.
