Minister Blendi Klosi- World Environment Day 2018 On World

Environment Day 2018, His Excellency Mr.Blendi Klosi, Minister of Tourism and Environment, announced the ban for production, use, trade and import of single use plastic bags in Albania, starting from July 1 2018. Mr.Klosi underlined the importance of the protection and improvement of the human environment as a major issue, which affects the well being of people. This initiative has been undertaken in accordance with the theme of the World Environment Day 2018 “Beat plastic pollution” and the call to action to combat one of the great environment challenges of our time.
