Activity with the children of the Multidisciplinary Social Center, Tirana on the occasion of the “World Ozone Day”, 16 September 2020

On the 17th of September 2020, the representatives of NOU and the Ministry of Tourism and Environment carried out an activity with the children of the “Multidisciplinary Social Center” in Tirana. In this activity participated 15 children, the staff of “Multidisciplinary Social Center” and the representatives of the Social Services Directorate in Tirana Municipality. .

In the first part of the activity videos for small children were displayed, such as “Ozzy Ozone”, “Ozone Layer & Hole” and “Guardians of the Galaxy: Ozone Heroes” . NOU representatives in cooperation with the teachers of “Multidisciplinary Social Center”, explained to the children what is the ozone layer and why it should be protected.
In the second part of the activity the children played and danced in a circle and made common movements together with their teachers under the music. The pupils and the teachers were rewarded with T-shirts with the logo of World Ozone Day 2020. The representatives of “Multidisciplinary Social Center” highlighted that information and education of children through entertainment is a success, which reaches also their families. The activities carried out in this Center have informed the children in a creative and entertaining way, having in consideration that it is better to prevent than to cure.
