Basketball match – Vlora

Also on the 13^th of September following the sporting activities, in Vlora city was organized a mixed basketball match in which participated boys and girls of 8 – 10 years old.

This activity was opened with the song “OZONE SONG”, and short information related with the importance of this day. The game was characterized by a great involvement of the participants on the match where they not only had fun playing but they also shared their opinions and thoughts regarding the information that was delivered on the Protection of the ozone layer, Vienna Convention and Montreal Protocol .

All boys and girls were encouraged to deliver this information to their friends and stimulating them to be the first to start this peer to peer campaign for the benefit of a healthier life in their future. Due to their age they were very enthusiastic to be selected as the first group of teenagers and to give them the task to spread the word as much as possible and to make a change in their community.
