This conference was organized in cooperation with the United Nations Environment (UNEP), International Institute Of Refrigeration (IIF-IIR), Air Conditioning And Refrigeration European Association (AREA) and was attended by representatives of the European Commission, the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO), United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO), Air-Conditioning, Heating, Refrigeration Institute (AHRI), American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning, Engineers (ASHRAE), European Partnership for Energy and the Environment (EPEE), European Refrigeration Component Manufacturers (ASERCOM), European Industry Association (Eurovent) Association Française du Froid (AFF), Japan Society of Refrigerating and Air Conditioning Engineers (JSRAE), Chinese Association of Refrigeration (CAR), European Heat Pump Association (EHPA).
The main focus of this event was on the New refrigerants and future perspectives with reference to EU 517/2014, F-gas regulation, energy saving, Climate change and the ozone layer: the phase down OF HFCS, New components & equipment in relation to new refrigerants, energy saving and environmental issues, results and updates in new systems, F-gas regulation 517/2014, European and international phase down, certification and licences, F-gas: phase-down and role of the industry’s association , the European F-gas regulation in the context of technological developments , Ensuring a safe Refrigerant transition New control technologies, the cold chain, cold storage and transport, food conservation, Efficiency and renewable cooling.
This event provided an opportunity for proficient discussions and prospects on a wide range of issues and challenges.
