Relay race Dora D’Istria school

On the occasion of the International ozone day the representatives of NOU carried out a Relay race with pupils of Dora D’Istria School. This school has 800 pupils, with a pedagogic staff of 50 teachers, in the city of Tirana.

In the first part of the activity, the pupils became aware of the importance of the International Day for the Preservation of the Ozone Layer. NOU representatives presented  the material “The importance of Ozone Layer protection for the benefits of human health and climate change”. Also documentary about the Montreal Protocol, Ozone layer and the importance of Ozone layer protection were demonstrated.  Then the activity continued with the organization of the race “movable circus” with the pupils of the school . In the final race, competed pupils of 8^th grade, both boys and girls.

The race was organized and directed by the teacher Dhurata Dushkaj, who ensured us for a further collaboration in the future. In the end of the activities, the pupils were rewarded with T-shirts with the logo of World Ozone Day 2016 and were delivered printed information prepared by NOU.
