On the 16th of September 2022, an open lecture about “Montreal Protocol@35: Global cooperation protecting life on earth” devoted to World Ozone Day was held at the “Harry Fultz” Institute in Tirana. This activity was organized jointly with the “Harry Fultz” Institute, a private Professional College which is supporting technicians with training and employment opportunities. The program of this activity included:
- Information about Vienna Convention and Montreal Protocol on Substances that Deplete the Ozone layer and the importance of the ozone layer protection. The NOU representative presented a material about “The importance of Ozone Layer protection for the benefits of human health and climate change”;
- Information about World Ozone Day and presentation of theme and poster for World Ozone Day 2022 “Montreal Protocol@35: global cooperation protecting life on earth”:
- Videos about the importance of ozone layer protection – “World Ozone Day 2022 – Montreal Protocol@35: global cooperation protecting life on earth”, “The Hole – A film on the Montreal Protocol” and “UNEP Executive Director’s Message for World Ozone Day 2022” were displayed.
