On 16 September 2025, the National Ozone Unit (NOU), in collaboration with the National Center for Children’s Culture in Tirana, organized an inspiring educational activity with children and teachers.
Under the theme “Montreal Protocol: From Science to Global Action”, the program blended creativity with learning. Children took part in interactive games, storytelling, and creative exercises designed to help them grasp the importance of the ozone layer and understand their own role in protecting the environment.
The atmosphere was lively and colorful, filled with curiosity and enthusiasm. Through play and dialogue, complex scientific concepts became simple, relatable, and inspiring. The children’s reactions — their questions, drawings, and stories — showed that even the youngest members of society can become voices for change when guided with care and imagination.
This event highlighted the essential role of early education in building a culture of sustainability. By reaching children at a young age, the message of ozone protection is carried into families and communities, ensuring that awareness grows stronger with every new generation.
