Workshop “Women in Refrigeration and Air-conditioning sector” – organized in cooperation with “Barleti” University, Tirana, 23 November 2021

This workshop was attended by 22 female students and lecturers from the Faculty of Architectures and Urbanism, “Barleti” University. All of the participants received “Certificates of Attendance”. The activity was organized under the special support of the Mr. Adriatik Dudaj, General Manager of the “Barleti” University and Saimir Kristo Ph.D,  Vice Dean of the Faculty of Architectures and Urbanism. In the design and implementation of workshop program, NOU has considered the specific characteristics and needs of the target audience, the anti-Covid-19 measures approved by the Government, and has involved the appropriate stakeholders.

The participants found the activity very interesting, and most of them confirmed that this is the first time they discuss the role of women in refrigeration and air conditioning sector. This workshop helps to raise their awareness of the role they will play as future architects in designing and selecting the most efficient cooling systems. Energy efficiency was thoroughly discussed in this workshop, for the importance this sector has in our country.
