Training of technicians at vocational training institutions – “Kigali Amendment and Alternatives to HCFCs and high GWP HFCs”, “Harry Fultz” Institute, Tirana, 1 November 2021

This training workshop was organized by NOU in cooperation with ICT Vocational Austrian School “Herman Gmeiner” in Tirana. It was attended by 26 students of the vocational school and all of them received “Certificates of Attendance”. The activity was organized under the special support of the school principal, Ms. Eljona Dimroci .
During the first part of the activity, the following issues have been discussed:
- Ozone Layer Protection. Vienna Convention and Montreal Protocol on Substances that Deplete the Ozone Layer
- Kigali Amendment to the Montreal Protocol: HFC Phase-down
- HCFC Phase-down and HFC Alternatives. Climate-friendly alternatives to HFCs and HCFCs
- Managing Covid 19 and RAC&HP sector
- Energy efficiency in the context of the Montreal Protocol and its Kigali Amendment
- Safety Standards and risk management
- Requirements and standard methods for leakage control
